Terms of Service

Welcome to VEGA. By using the app or this website you agree to these terms. We've kept them as short and human as we can.

1. What VEGA Does

VEGA Services is a Visakhapatnam-based home-services company. We employ workers directly and dispatch them to customers who book through our app. We offer home cleaning, bathroom cleaning, kitchen tasks, car detailing, deep cleaning and beauty services.

2. Who Can Use VEGA

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You must provide an active Indian phone number that can receive SMS.
• You must live or have an address within our currently serviced areas (Madhurawada, Yendada, Pothinamallayya Palem).

3. Bookings

3.1 Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after payment success or, for Cash on Delivery, after our team accepts the request. Minimum order value is ₹99.

3.2 Service Areas

We currently serve Madhurawada, Yendada and Pothinamallayya Palem (PM Palem). Bookings from other areas are blocked. You can tap "Notify me" in the app to register demand.

3.3 Scheduling

Slot availability depends on demand. Once scheduled, we assign a worker and you can track live.

4. Pricing & Payment

• No platform fee. The price you see is the price you pay.
• Payment via Razorpay supports UPI, debit/credit card, net banking and wallets.
• Cash on Delivery supported — pay after service completion.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Promotional discounts and referral rewards credit to your VEGA wallet.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

• Before worker dispatched: Free cancellation. Full refund within 3-5 business days.
• After worker en-route: 50% cancellation fee.
• After worker arrived: No refund; rescheduling may be possible.
• If we cancel (worker unavailable, weather, etc.) you get 100% refund + ₹100 inconvenience credit.

6. Service Quality Promise

If you are not satisfied with a service:

• Tell us within 24 hours via the bug-report button or call +91 7207719922.
• We will offer a free re-do at a time that works for you, OR
• A full refund to your VEGA wallet — your choice.

7. What's NOT Included

• Repair or installation of appliances
• Moving heavy furniture / appliances unless explicitly listed
• Pest control, painting, plumbing or carpentry
• Anything outside the task description shown at booking time

8. Your Responsibilities

• Provide access to the property at the scheduled time.
• Secure pets, children and valuables before the worker arrives.
• Provide running water and electricity required for the service.
• Treat our workers with respect. Abuse results in immediate termination and permanent account ban.

9. Our Workers

All VEGA workers are background-checked and uniformed. They are directly employed by VEGA — not gig contractors.

10. Wallet, Referrals & Promotions

• VEGA wallet credits have no cash value — usable only against VEGA bookings.
• Referral rewards (₹200 each) credit automatically on valid first-login code use.
• You cannot refer yourself or apply a referral code more than once.
• Wallet balance is zeroed if you delete your account.

11. Liability

Our liability for any booking is capped at the total value of that booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages. For accidental damage caused by a VEGA worker during a service, our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the specific item damaged, up to ₹10,000 per incident.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these terms
• Misuse the wallet or referral system
• Are abusive towards our workers or staff
• Use stolen payment methods

13. Account Deletion

Delete your account any time at Profile → 🛠️ Manage Account → 🗑️ Delete Forever. Personal data is removed; booking records anonymised but retained per Indian tax law (see Privacy Policy).

14. Changes

Material changes notified via the app and email at least 7 days in advance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Visakhapatnam, AP.
